Privacy Policy Terms of Service

Voxta LLC ("Voxta", "we", "us", or "our"), headquartered in Sheridan, Wyoming, is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains our data practices for the Voxta software, Voxta Cloud services, and websites (collectively, the "Services").

Data sovereignty & local-first

Voxta is built on a local-first philosophy. By default, your voice prompts, conversations, and AI workflows are processed directly on your hardware. We do not transmit or monitor your private local interactions.

We still encourage you to avoid sharing sensitive data like passwords even in local environments — it's good practice in general.

Information we collect

We store the following information for users of Voxta Cloud:

  • Identifiers — your sign-in provider's user ID (stored salted and hashed), your email address (received from your sign-in provider and used for billing and receipts via our payment provider — not stored in our own database), and unique API keys. API keys submitted for Cloud use are encrypted at rest. Keys used for local modules remain on your device and are not transmitted to Voxta.
  • Usage data — transaction records (model used, credits consumed) and interaction frequency for billing and statistical purposes. We do not store prompts or responses.
  • Device & network — IP addresses (temporarily, for routing) and country information for traffic optimization via Microsoft Azure datacenters.
  • Billing information — payment data is handled by Chargebee (our billing platform for direct card payments), Patreon (for Patreon-based subscriptions), and NOWPayments (for cryptocurrency). Card numbers are tokenized by Chargebee and stored by NMI / Electronic Merchant Systems — Voxta never receives or stores raw card numbers. We only temporarily ingest webhooks to sync your entitlements and renew credits — the incoming message is disposed immediately after processing.

Voxta Cloud security

Our cloud services are hosted on Microsoft Azure (United States and Germany).

  • Encryption — data in transit is secured via HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
  • Authentication — OAuth2 with Google, Patreon, or Discord. We never store your sign-in credentials directly.
  • Access — backends are restricted on a strict need-to-know basis.

Only Microsoft Azure has the information that could associate your sign-in identity with your activity, and we do not log the contents of your prompts or responses.

Data rights & laws

We strive to comply with global privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA. You have the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal data.

Policy for minors

The Services are intended for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or older, depending on local law).

Cookies & tracking

Voxta operates a zero-tracker policy. We use only cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that store no cookies and collect no personal data. We do not use pixels, ad trackers, or cross-site profiling, and our website does not track your behavior across other platforms.

This is why there's no cookie consent banner — there's nothing to consent to.
